This brings us to the first of Limbo's strengths: Turning DPS Warframes into one-way damage dispensers: Enemies can't touch them, but they can still kill just the same. Ironically this excludes Limbo's abilities themselves, but more on that later. If you are an Excalibur wielding an Exalted Blade you can hit enemies both in and outside of the Rift regardless of where you are. Almost all of which transcend the Rift-Reality border. There are a few exceptions to this, most notably Warframe abilities. Only entities on the same plane (either both in the Rift or both in Reality) can interact with each other. This is one part of why many regard Limbo as the ultimate troll in Warframe: Enemies in the Rift cannot be interacted with by usual means. Being in the Rift and attacking an enemy in Reality will not connect. The Rift is an entirely different dimension through which things can be seen, but not interacted with. Note the visual difference between in (left) and out (right) of the Rift: While the Portal only lasts 5 seconds and the time in the Rift for other Warframes is limited to 15 seconds Limbo himself can stay in the Rift indefinitely. That, naturally, includes Limbo and his dash.

IMPORTANT for non-Limbo players: Any Warframe can exit the Rift Plane by rolling, back- or side-flipping at any time! This is how you get out of there before the time runs out! Any pet or sentinel equipped will also enter and exit the Rift with Limbo. Any Warframe touching it will enter the Rift for a short time. However, when Limbo dashes this way while being inside Reality he enters the Rift Plane and leaves behind a Portal. This alone is only a visual change and seemingly does not increase or decrease the speed at which normal Warframes parkour. All of these animations have been replaced with a short dash. Normal Warframes can roll, back- and side-flip and alike, but not Limbo.

You can look up more on the Prime Vault page of the Wiki. Neither can be done in the game store, you will have to trade with players who own such relics and parts.Īfter a while (I'd expect maybe ~2-3 years after being vaulted) Limbo will return from the Prime Vault for a limited time, bringing a Vault Bundle which can be bought for real-world currency and also new relics with his parts will be available ingame to farm without additional cost (other than time that is). While vaulted the only way to get your hands on the prime version is to either buy the relics and hope you're lucky or buy the blueprints themselves. Any already owned Limbo Prime, his parts, blueprints and relics will stay in your inventory. In the future Limbo Prime will be "vaulted", which means that the relics his parts drop from can no longer be acquired ingame. It's best to look up the droptables on the Wiki page of Limbo Prime instead of me having to change this guide every time a new prime access comes out.

In theory, simply be ignored.Īcquiring Limbo Prime at the time of writing can only be done through gathering and opening Relics. Note that The Limbo Theorem is not a main story quest and thus not required for progression through the game. This is in addition to receiving a fully-built and boosted Limbo.ĭepending on how much the player farms I'd expect most to be at around Mastery Rank 3-5 when they first are confronted with the quest. Thus players who buy the bundle will be able to play it sooner than normal players who still need to fight their way to the Junction. In short: It requires the player to acquire the actual quest, which can be done via either the Europa Junction or as part of the Limbo Bundle, but it does require The Archwing quest. the Mercury Junction granting the player the Once Awake quest). to complete the Mars Junction the player needs to complete the Once Awake quest) while dotted lines show quests awarded by completing Junctions (i.e.

This can be done via (at the time of writing) Relics, but in the future Limbo will become Vaulted and Unvaulted again, which offers different Relics and Vault Bundles which can be bought for real-world currency. Buy Limbo in the Market (current cost is 200 Platinum alone or 550 Platinum in the "Limbo Bundle" which has a bunch of extra stuff).
